Fourth Division: Historically Themed Floats from Neighboring Communities
As the Old Colony Memorial informed its readers regarding this part of the parade:
"Division 4 was made up of the floats representing the following places in Plymouth, Barnstable, and Dukes counties: Abington, Brockton, Carver, Duxbury, Halifax, Hanover, Hanson, Hingham, Kingston, Marion, Mattapoisett, Rochester, Marshfield, Middleboro, Norwell, Pembroke, Bridgewater, Plymouth, Plympton, Rockland, Scituate, Whitman, Barnstable, Bourne, Falmouth, Harwich, Orleans, Provincetown, Sandwich, Wellfleet, Yarmouth, and Marthas Vineyard.
These floats were commemorative of some phase of the history of these towns in the early days of their incorporation."
